Theme : Defending women’s rights while identifying the risks that women can be exposed to in the context of a pandemic.
UN Women (United Nations Women) is the UN organisation delivering programmes, policies and standards that uphold women’s human rights and ensure that every woman and girl lives up to her full potential.
In this year’s conference, our goal is to identify the dangers women faced during the Covid-19 pandemic and look for ways in order to take actions in defence of their rights now. It is a need for us to get countries to put in place laws in prevention of such things happening in the future.
